John Kirsch, CPA

As a highly energetic business leader and entrepreneur, John Kirsch has a passion for helping businesses and nonprofits reach their growth potential. He has worked with organizations focusing on strategic business development, growth and succession planning, and tax planning.  He has worked with more than 100 private business owners on succession and transition matters.

John received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting from Miami University. He has the distinction of receiving the highest score in the state of Ohio, and one of the highest scores in the country on the CPA examination.  John has spoken extensively on business and tax topics to a diverse group of audiences and has developed and presented more than 20 continuing education programs for other CPAs.

In 1991, John was inspired to assemble a team of seasoned experts to give small and medium-sized enterprises access to a full-service CFO and accounting department on an as-needed basis. Today, John leads Kirsch CPA Group by empowering the Kirsch team to provide clients with innovative and strategic solutions that impact the bottom line.

Kirsch CPA Group has a “pay it forward” mindset.  John has put this belief into action by serving in board and leadership positions for a variety of not for profit organizations including charitable foundations, educational institutions, health care facilities, social service organizations, and economic development organizations.

Personal Profile

When he’s not immersed in helping his clients achieve growth, John strives to be a role model to his employees by having work-life balance. Off the clock, John is on the go with his wife visiting their four children. He can be found backpacking on trails throughout the eastern US, hanging out with friends and dedicating his time to not for profit organizations.
