Our History

John Kirsch recognized the need for an accounting firm that provided premier client service and focused attention for small and medium sized businesses. In 1991, John took his unique entrepreneurial style of accounting and advisory services and left a large accounting firm to start Kirsch CPA Group, LLC in Oxford, OH. The firm has grown by building relationships with entrepreneurial clients providing services that offer clients the knowledge and resources of a larger company along with the personalized attention of a smaller organization. With an unwavering dedication to provide clients with customized solutions that add value to their business, the firm has grown to add a second location in Hamilton, OH.

Kirsch CPA Team

Today, Peter Abner and Chad Williams partner with John Kirsch employing a team of 35-plus professionals including 19 CPAs. The team based approach to serve clients efficiently with the same dedication and vigor on which the firm started more than 25 years ago has grown Kirsch to the 17th largest local CPA firm in Southwest Ohio. The firm ranks among the top accounting as a Best of the Best Firms 2019 by Inside Public Accounting for its people and quality of service.

Community Involvement

We owe much of our success to the support we have received from businesses and individuals in the Tri-State area. We are always looking for ways to give back to the community that has sustained us.

Over the years, our team has volunteered for One Way Farm, a local children’s home that has provided housing, counseling, and development for more than 8,000 youth since its inception in 1976. Each holiday season, our employees visit One Way Farm to hand-wrap hundreds of donated Christmas gifts.

Once a month, the team enjoys a casual day while donating to the Kirsch Casual for a Cause fund. Donations go to a variety of charities to support the local community.

Kirsch CPA Group sponsors numerous local youth sports teams and local events. Many of our team members also donate their time and efforts on an individual basis, serving on numerous boards and volunteering at local churches.
