Senior Accounting Specialist

Kate took an unconventional route to accounting but happily landed here in 2017. After completing a degree in English literature, she took an inside sales position. She was cross-trained in accounting as a backup and realized that it was an excellent fit for her attention to detail and problem-solving skills. When an opportunity arose to switch departments, she moved into accounting and loved it. For five years, she learned as much as she possibly could from her peers, working in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing, as well as creating business process flows for a major software implementation.

Kate joined the team in late 2017, eager to expand her accounting talents and to share her communication, financial, and leadership skills. She is immersed in client projects such as virtual bookkeeping, software conversions, creating procedural efficiencies, and transitioning new clients aboard. She enjoys building strong relationships with her teammates and clients.

As a lifelong Hamilton resident, Kate is extremely excited to be working in downtown Hamilton. She feels it is an opportunity for her to give back to a place that has given her so much. She enjoys spending time with her family, and is an avid yogi, reader, knitter, and Cincinnati sports fan.
