Honoring the Life and Legacy of Debbie Weber, Friend & Director
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our colleague and friend, Debbie Weber, who was a cherished member of Kirsch CPA Group for more than 26 years and the accounting profession for over 42 years.
Debbie joined our firm in 2001 and served as both a director and a mentor throughout an extraordinary career. Her dedication and passion in both serving clients and supporting her team members had a profound impact on our firm both inside and out.
As a CPA, Debbie worked with hundreds of business owners and individuals over the years, providing thoughtful tax guidance, strategic insight, and responsive support. She earned the trust of her clients not only because of her expertise but also for the genuine care she demonstrated in every interaction. Many of those relationships grew into lasting friendships.
Among her colleagues, Debbie was known as a mentor, a leader, and a friend, who made people feel supported. Debbie played a key role in the professional development of countless accountants throughout their careers, helping them grow into trusted advisors for the clients we serve today. She also led resource management for the firm, ensuring that team members had the right opportunities to develop their skills while delivering excellent service to our clients.
Debbie believed deeply in the value of a strong team culture. In 2011, she began our “Fun Committee,” making sure that even during the busiest seasons we took time to celebrate, connect, and support one another. Throughout the firm, Debbie was known for her constant efforts to ensure the team was well cared for, making sure there was plenty of good food and encouragement during long days.
Outside the office, Debbie was a champion for serving our community. For years she led the firm’s Service Committee, most recently organizing Kirsch’s participation in the Salvation Army Hamilton Corps Christmas Drive. Each year she rallied our team to purchase gifts for families in need and coordinated a day where employees gathered to sort and organize gifts for distribution during the holidays.

The Debbie Weber Day of Service in December will honor Debbie as we continue to support the work and the programs that she cared so much about. If you would like to participate, we invite you to join us in supporting the Salvation Army Hamilton Corps in Debbie’s memory. Colleagues and Clients Remember a Trusted Friend and Advisor
“Deb was more than a CPA and trusted advisor; she was my friend. She cared deeply about both my business and my family.”
“When I needed advice on what to do about an accounting or tax matter, Deb was always available for me, even on her day off.”
“Debbie had an outsized impact on my early career here at Kirsch—and in accounting generally. She gave me real perspective on my career and work, and I am so happy to have known her.”
“Deb was my coach for a number of years and a great mentor to me. She helped me balance priorities as a working mom. When I first started working for Kirsch, I was a new mom with a one-year-old and I was very nervous about how to juggle everything. Deb was working proof to me that I could balance everything, be a meaningful contributor at work and an amazing mom.”
