Where Is My Federal and Ohio Refund?
Sue Schloemer
Jan 13, 2022
Taxpayers have until Monday, April 18, 2022, to file their 2021 tax returns and pay any tax due.
If you are expecting a refund, you can click the link below to quickly learn the status of that refund. You will need your social security number, filing status and the amount of your refund.
You can check on the status of your refund:
- Within 24 hours after we’ve received your e-filed tax return; or
- 4 weeks after mailing your paper return.
When the IRS processes your tax return and approves your refund, you can see your actual personalized refund date. Even though the IRS issues most refunds in less than 21 days after we receive your tax return, it’s possible your tax return may require additional review and take longer.
To get the status of your State of Ohio Refund, you will need your Social Security Number and Date of Birth.
